Effect of dietary lysine on the growth performance of Pangasius hypophthalmus

چکیده

The success of intensive striped catfish (Pangasius hypophthalmus) cultivation requires quality feed that contains not only protein according to fish needs but also a complete essential amino acid profile support the growth. One solution overcome this problem is done through addition lysine in commercial. This study aimed examine effect on efficiency utilization, growth and body composition (P. hypophthalmus). consisted 4 (four) treatments those were with dosages 0% / kg (A); 0.6% (B); 1.2% (C); 2.4% (D) for every feed. experimental diet was commercial form pellets which added lysine. A fixed feeding rate 5%/weight biomass/day applied at frequency 3 times day. used fingerling has an average weight 4.13 ± 0.26 g/individuals. results showed 1,2% increased SGR, EFU, FCR, PER content catfish.
